Security Sensor Light Installation For Elderly Client

About the customer & what they require:
The family of an elderly client at Fig Tree Pocket asked us to install a sensor light and security device at her front door to help her (and her adult children) monitor visitors. The device looks like a sensor light but when the light senses movement, it activates an in-built camera which triggers an app on your smart phone and lets you not only look at who is there, you can also talk to them trough your phone. And because the light can sync with multiple phones, the woman’s children were also able to monitor front door activity. The device fits to an existing light fitting and because it is operated by wi-fi, no extra cabling was required, but a qualified electrician is required to take care of installation.
What we did:
- Removed the existing light fitting near the front door
- Installed the new sensor light device
- Assisted the family to get the app working on multiple devices
The results of this commercial electrical job:
- An immediate sense of personal security for the client who lives alone
- Added comfort for the client’s adult children
